Weekend Nanny for 3 Boys

Location: Santa Monica

Compensation: $40/hour DOE ($650/weekend)

Schedule:

• Saturdays: 2:30 PM until parents return home (flexible end time — most commonly between 10/11pm).
• Sundays: Approximately 6 to 8 hours with flexibility on start time.

We are seeking an energetic and nurturing Weekend Nanny to provide exceptional childcare and support for our family during the weekends. With three boys aged 2 to 13, we need a dynamic individual who can keep up with their active lifestyles and contribute to our on-the-go household. The Weekend Nanny will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of our children, as well as maintaining a flexible schedule to accommodate our needs.

Responsibilities:

• – Engage and interact with three boys, ages 2 to 13, fostering a positive and caring relationship.
• – Plan and organize a variety of age-appropriate activities to accommodate the different interests and energy levels of each child.
• – Prepare and serve meals and snacks, considering individual dietary preferences and restrictions.
• – Assist with grooming and hygiene routines, including diaper changes, potty training, and bathing.
• – Ensure the safety and supervision of the children, both within the home and during outings.
• – Reinforce positive behavior and discipline techniques, as outlined by parents.
• – Create a stimulating and supportive environment that encourages learning, creativity, and physical activity.
• – Maintain open and effective communication with parents, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns.
• – Collaborate with parents to maintain consistency in routines and parenting approaches.
• – Light housekeeping duties related to the children’s care and play areas.

Qualifications:

• – Previous experience in childcare, particularly with multiple children of varying ages.
• – Energetic, patient, and adaptable, with the ability to match the energy levels of active boys.
• – Strong understanding of child development and the ability to tailor activities accordingly.
• – Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with children and parents.
• – Reliable and punctual, with efficient time management skills.
• – A perfect driving record with a valid driver’s license.
• – Comfortable with dogs, as our household includes a furry family member.
• – CPR and First Aid certification (preferred).
• – Non-smoker.
• – Respect for family privacy and values.
