Estate Manager – Santa Barbara (prefer someone local but also open to someone to relocate)
Salary: Dependent on Experience plus benefits
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, with flexibility as needed

An Ultra High Net Worth Family is seeking a motivated and organized Estate Manager to oversee a large and active residence in Santa Barbara. The ideal candidate should exude elegance and refinement, demonstrating true self-initiative and adeptness in proactive problem-solving. This role requires the ability to manage multiple projects, display flexibility, and exhibit meticulous attention to detail. The perfect fit for this position will have prior experience as an Estate Manager for a distinguished UHNW household or family, possessing a service-oriented mindset, seamlessly managing day-to-day needs, and possessing a discerning eye for sophistication.

Comprehensive Oversight: Directly manage all aspects of the expansive Santa Barbara residence.
Personnel Management: Responsible for hiring, training, supervising, and making personnel decisions for both support and household staff.
Special Event Coordination: Organize and coordinate various family outings, vacations, celebrations, and related activities.
Vendor Relations: Manage and maintain relationships with vendors covering all areas of the residence.
Administrative Duties: Compile and upkeep household manuals, inventory records, staff documentation, and related administrative tasks.
Payroll Oversight: Responsible for overseeing payroll functions related to household staff.
Job Requirements:

Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree (preferred).
A minimum of five years of recent experience managing large UHNW residences.
Verifiable professional references.
Possession of reliable transportation, a clean driving record (DMV), and local residence.
Proven track record in effectively coordinating and managing household staff.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in computer skills and familiarity with smart home technology.
Quick thinking ability to manage spontaneous requests effectively.
Skillful delegation and a balance of individual and team-oriented responsibilities.
