Executive/Personal Assistant for Actor Talent in Jersey City
We are currently seeking a highly organized and dedicated Executive/Personal Assistant to support a busy actor/musician talent based in Jersey City. This role requires someone who is adaptable, familiar with the entertainment industry, and capable of handling a dynamic schedule. The candidate must be available to work Monday through Friday with flexibility when needed, as this position can be demanding and may involve weekend travel for various events until the end of the year.
Responsibilities:
Manage the talent’s schedule and calendar, addressing both personal and professional commitments.
Handle email communication and assist with correspondence on behalf of the talent.
Act as a liaison between the talent and their business manager, agents, and other team members.
Efficiently arrange and coordinate all travel logistics, including flights, hotels, and ground transportation.
Run errands and handle various tasks, such as gift shopping and overall life management for the talent.
Collaborate with the stylist and other glam team members to ensure the talent’s appearance is well-maintained.
This role may require working closely with the client at their home, on set, while traveling, or remotely when necessary. Transportation expenses (e.g., Uber) will be covered when working at the client’s location.
Requirements:
Prior experience in the entertainment sector is preferred, as it will provide valuable insights into the industry’s demands.
Strong organizational and time management skills are essential to handle the constantly changing schedule effectively.
The candidate should be comfortable with traveling as needed, including weekends, to support the talent’s various events and commitments.
Familiarity with SET experience is a plus and will be considered favorably.
An ability to prioritize and multitask is crucial in this fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Excellent communication skills are required for effective interaction with team members, business contacts, and the talent.
Salary and Benefits:
Salary will be commensurate with experience (DOE).
We are open to discussing a stipend toward benefits and compensation for commute expenses, where appropriate.
