Business Manager for Music Touring Business Management Firm– Beverly Hills
Salary 200K-300K DOE plus Benefits
Requires in office and travel for clients
The ideal person will have worked for another premium business manager specific to music clients that tour and understand the contacts and negotiations around this work.
The managers are involved in estate planning, assisting in running day to day lives for their clients as well as managing a team of account executives. MUST be comfortable with travel, growing business and team.

Key Responsibilities include:
·       Act as primary advisor/communicator at firm for applicable Clients
·       Effective and appropriate communication with client, client reps, and client employees
·       Completely prepares for and oversees financial meetings with Clients
·       Is actively involved with the Music Industry community
·       Has proven staff management skills by mentoring, coaching, and developing a subordinate infrastructure that supports them in this role
·       Accounts Payable/Receivable final review and approval; check signing authority for clients
·       Final review of cash projections, financial reports, and supplemental schedules
·       Final review of Tour merchandise and Hard ticket settlement trackers, analysis, and reconciliation
·       Understands and effectively facilitates all matters related to Taxation
·       Final review of Individual & Corporate tax projections
·       Oversee client real estate transactions, renovation projects, auto and other large purchases
·       Insurance renewal oversight and analysis
·       Royalty Statement analysis: proven understanding of when a royalty audit is necessary
·       Possess in-depth knowledge/understanding of Client Investments & Estate Planning
·       Responsible for Business development and facilitates new client meetings

Preferred candidates:
·       Are focused, ethical, discrete, and integrous, and will act as client advocate
·       Have good judgment regarding industry social event behavior and exhibits professionalism when
representing company in any capacity
·       Possess a strong desire and hunger to take on new business and build and support a team
·       Exhibits confidence and good judgment in Client crisis situations
·       Take initiative to continually grow and promote the same with their staff
·       Continues education through reading trades, attending industry conferences and on the road training by attending client concerts & tour settlement meetings, etc.
·       Have proven leadership skills and act collaboratively
·       Enjoy working in and excel in a fast-paced environment
·       Have a working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook/Excel and Adobe PDF

Education and Experience Requirements:
·       A minimum of 3+ years’ experience in the Entertainment Industry as Business Manager or relevant role in a Business Management Firm with Tour Accounting
·       A minimum of 4 semesters of college level accounting, including Federal Tax Accounting, and
general love of working with numbers is required
