Temporary Seasonal Housekeeper for Santa Barbara Couple

Location: Santa Barbara, CA

Schedule: Two weekdays, 9am to 3pm; Mid-June to Mid-November (seasonal position)

Compensation: $35/hour++ DOE

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Housekeeper to maintain the cleanliness and organization of a family’s new residence in Santa Barbara. The primary responsibilities include daily cleaning tasks, such as laundry, washing and organizing linens, changing beds, organizing pantries and closets, and ensuring a tidy and comfortable living environment. The ideal candidate should have excellent attention to detail, be self-motivated, and capable of working independently. There is one small dog and parrot in the home, so please be pet friendly! 

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily cleaning tasks, including vacuuming, dusting, and mopping, to maintain a clean and well-maintained living space.
• Manage the linens, including washing, drying, folding, and making beds.
• Organize pantries and closets to ensure efficient use of space and easy access to items.
• Mop the garage floor on a semi – regular basis.
• Clean and maintain the 6,000 square foot residence, including bedrooms, office, and common areas.
• Regularly wipe down patio furniture and maintain outdoor spaces.

Requirements:

• Previous housekeeping experience in a high-end residential setting is preferred.
• Attention to detail and the ability to maintain a consistent level of cleanliness throughout the residence.
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and the ability to use cleaning equipment and supplies effectively.
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Must live locally to the Santa Barbara/Ventura area.
