Location: Marina Del Rey & Remote

Schedule: Monday to Friday, approximately 9am to 2pm with potential for additional hours in the future. 25 hours/week to start.

Compensation: Competitive DOE

A busy and kind family located in Marina Del Rey is seeking an experienced, proactive and confident Personal/Family Assistant to support their household. The family has three young children, a dog, and additional household staff. They are seeking someone who can seamlessly integrate into their family dynamic and provide essential support to keep things running smoothly. The primary duties of this role will be to serve as a right hand and personal assistant to the man of the house, driving him occasionally, and keeping him organized with overall life management – there may also be a need for driving the kids from time to time. Additional duties will include assisting the lady of the house with miscellaneous business projects or household requests.

The ideal candidate needs to be highly skilled and dependable, willing to wear multiple hats as needed. They should be proactive in managing schedules and directing activities, rather than waiting for direction. This role is hands-on and requires assertiveness, with the ability to confidently take the lead and communicate effectively. The candidate should be resourceful, intelligent, and able to work off-site (remotely) if necessary. We would love to find someone who has worked in a similar capacity before, ideally with a HNW or high profile family. Must understand the importance of discretion, know how to go with the flow but also have a true sense of urgency with getting things done, creating systems, and working off a check list. Must be respectful of boundaries while maintaining a positive attitude and energetic approach to their work. If you are an effective communicator, proactive leader, organized multi-tasker, and a great team player seeking a lovely family to support, we encourage you to apply.

  • Provide transportation as needed, including driving family members to appointments, activities, and errands.
  • Organize calendars and schedules to ensure all appointments and commitments are met.
  • Help with meal preparation (not a requirement but a huge bonus) and light household tasks, such as picking up groceries and ordering supplies.
  • Take the lead in managing time and priorities.

Qualifications:

  • Must have experience working in a family/home setting, ideally with children.
  • Professional, positive attitude.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Comfortable working in a bustling household with children and pets.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
