Location: NYC
Schedule: Full time, on call, traveling to properties as needed
Compensation: $45/hour plus full benefits (health, dental, vision, vacation, sick time, holidays)
An UHNW client with properties across the US is seeking a traveling handyman – MUST be based in NY as this is where the majority of the work will take place. Please be an experienced handyman/houseman and very savvy with all things related to repairs, assembly, and anything household related that needs tending to. The client will appreciate the handyman handling all tasks on their own, using their best judgment prior to sourcing outside vendors, if necessary. Must be willing to travel to other properties within NY or other properties outside of NY if necessary.
Duties/Requirements will include:
- Plumbing
- Painting
- Electrical
- Various Repairs
- Housekeeping as needed
- Carpentry
- Ability to use their own tools if property may not have a specific tool necessary to complete a task
- Able to work from a checklist
- Interior and exterior work as needed
- Own reliable transportation
- Able to work day and/or night shifts
- Able to work weekends
- Run errands as needed
- Accept delivery and inspect various items on property
- Understand scope of Handyman work vs using a vendor
- Detail oriented
- Meticulous craftsmanship
