Location: Malibu, CA
Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday, 11am-7pm or 12pm-8pm from June-September when the clients are heavily in residence.  From September-June you may work M-F, 7am-3pm, 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm. 
Compensation:  DOE, $38-$55/hour + PTO and a generous benefits package.

We are seeking a versatile individual to join our team as a Household Manager and Event Coordinator for a very sweet family in Malibu.  This role involves a variety of responsibilities including housekeeping, meal preparation, event planning and execution, table setting, and overseeing all aspects of hospitality at the residence.

The ideal candidate is a Jane of all trades and has experience working in either a residence or high end hotel (or both) and be ready to work as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and organized residence
  • Prepare meals as needed, considering dietary preferences and restrictions
  • Plan and assist in organizing events, ensuring all details are meticulously executed
  • Set tables for meals and events with an eye for detail and elegance
  • Generate creative ideas for parties and events to enhance client experiences
  • Maintain a high level of hospitality standards throughout the residence

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a private residence or high-end hotel, demonstrating versatility in hospitality and service
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively within a team
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including Tuesdays through Saturdays from June to September, and Mondays through Fridays from September to June
