Location: Los Feliz with some days in the East Hollywood office

Schedule: Tentatively Mon-Fri, 10am-6pm with occasional earlier mornings and evenings.

Compensation: $45/hour plus benefits available

A dynamic family residing in Los Feliz is in search of a dedicated and organized family/personal/household coordinator to streamline their daily operations. The primary focus of this role is to provide comprehensive support in household coordination, personal assistance, and oversee some childcare responsibilities. While the children are older and largely self-sufficient, the main requirement is to have a responsible adult presence in the home.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Aid in managing the principal’s schedule and personal affairs, including researching and planning travel arrangements (booking hotels
    and flights, sourcing family activities)
  • Schedule, hire, and meet with household vendors to oversee all maintenance needs.
  • Coordinate with regular house maintenance crew like house cleaners, gardeners, pool maintenance, plant care.
  • Assist with household tasks to maintain an organized and efficient home environment
  • Be involved in organizing the principal’s schedule.
  • Facilitate the personal needs of the family, and run errands as needed.
  • Occasional afternoon childcare for children, aged 12 and 14, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Occasional longer overnight stays with the children while parents are traveling.
  • Occasionally drive children to and from school (if working early morning), extracurricular activities, and appointments.
  • Occasionally provide care and attention to the family’s dog as needed.

Requirements:

  • Flexibility with working hours, including occasional mornings and evenings.
  • Reliable transportation and a clean driving record.
  • Adaptable to changing circumstances and plans
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work independently.
  •  Excellent time management, organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Positive attitude, enthusiastic, reliable and resourceful.
  • Tech savvy
  • College degree or equivalent experience is desired.
  • At least 3 years experience in childcare and household assistance.
  • The ideal candidate will be a proactive individual with a keen eye for detail
