Location: Sherman Oaks

Schedule: SUN, MON, TUE (up to 3 meals each day)

Compensation: Up to $550/day, 1099

A family who recently moved to Sherman Oaks from the Bay Area is seeking a part-time chef to work Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays. This is a family of four with two kids (ages 14 and 9). The kids can be picky and have a limited palette, so most times the adults will get a certain menu and kids will have a different menu. Adults enjoy a wide repertoire of food styles, and appreciate family style meals. Mom and son do not eat seafood, but there are no other diet restrictions. The ideal candidate is honest, trustworthy, clean, organized, peaceful, kid friendly, punctual, reliable, a team player, resourceful and has a can-do attitude!

The schedule needed is as follows:

SUN: Flex for the full day, breakfast, lunch, dinner

MON: Flex for the full day, breakfast, lunch, dinner

TUE: Flex for the full day, breakfast, lunch, dinner

Specific duties/requirements will include:

  • Full responsibility of the kitchen, pantry
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization
  • Work with full-time chef to keep kitchen & foods consistently stocked, fresh, organized and clean
  • There is no formal entertaining, but occasional guests should be expected
  • No menu planning or review will be required
  • Up to date with covid vaccinations
  • Willing to sign an NDA
